I’ve been wearing my Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB for several weeks now, and I can’t be happier. It has a nice heft to it (155g), grasps my wrist comfortably, and seems to be very sturdy. The watch isn’t too large to take all the attention, neither is it too small to look awkward on a man’s wrist. The NH35 movement is made by Seiko Instruments, which also makes the Seiko watches. They’re a Japanese company making some of the highest-quality watches and movements on the planet. Sellita SW200

The 8926 and 8926OB use a Seiko Instruments Inc (SII) Caliber NH35A. This is a very reliable movement that’s found in many watch brands.From my own experience, I can say that the Invicta 8926OB is definitely worth purchasing, especially considering the unbelievable price that gets you a Submariner lookalike with an NH35 automatic caliber. For the price, the watch offers more than you can wish for. And although I have worn it for only a couple of weeks, the whole construction and the prestige of the caliber suggests a long lifetime. Finally, there’s also the Invicta 8926, which comes with a scalloped bezel instead of the coin-edge version. All the other visual and physical features are identical to the 8926OB. The Invicta Pro Diver’s case is a tug-of-war of extremes for me. There are aspects I find incredible about it but there is also one thing that makes my blood boil. You might be used to a battery-powered (“ quartz movement”) watch, but the fact is that most expensive and luxury watches use an automatic movement.

All the watches in this article have an automatic movement, but there’s a difference in the 9937 and 8926 movements. SII NH35A Sellita is a Swiss movement manufacturer, so some people place a premium on that, and this may be why the 9937 models can’t be found for a cheap price anymore. To summarize the Invicta Pro Diver review, the 8926OB model has more advantages to it than disadvantages.Another problem that caught my eye, although a slight one, is the gap between the three links when bending the bracelet. What causes it is the pinhole in the center link that seems to be too wide. The gap is also the very reason contributing to the rattling noise of the bracelet. The 8926, 8926OB, 9937, and 9937OB are very similar watches. Kudos to you for trying to get a straight answer about it. I did the first image right after strong light exposure, the other one approximately an hour later, and the third one three hours later. The results were disappointing, to say the least. I would have hoped to get a much better luminosity from a diver than from a casual chronograph. It has a BPH of 28,800 which means that the second hand has a much smoother sweep (8 beats per second), which is typically only found in higher-tier watches. As a tradeoff, it has slightly shorter power reserve of 38 hours.

Sizing. The case has a diameter of 40mm whilst the width of the watch band is 20mm. 40mm is just slightly larger than your standard men’s watch at 38mm. All in all, my wearing experience couldn’t have been better as the Invicta Pro Diver makes it an excellent everyday wearable. The Invicta Pro Diver also comes 200m (660ft) water-resistant. I haven’t tried it out in the water yet, but swimming or snorkeling shouldn’t be a problem with this watch. However, taking it deep down for diving might not be the best of decisions. The 9937 and 9937OB use a Sellita SW200. This is also a reliable movement that’s found in many watches. OB” stands for “original bezel,” which is the coin-edge (Rolex-Style) bezel, so the 8926OB and 9937OB would have those.

The non-OB models have a scalloped bezel (Omega Seamaster-Style), so that would be the 8926 and 9937. if joy per dollar spent were a factor, these are top watches. they shouldn’t be judged by all the other cr*p Invicta puts out. judged on their own, if you want a great spec, classic style sub that looks good (yes, except for the engraved ‘invicta’ on the side), then this is totally worth it. The first thing you’ll notice is the sweeping second’s hand that makes six steps in a second and gives a nice gliding motion. Those of you who have worn only quartz watches will definitely find the sweeping motion the best part of an automatic timepiece.

It is a caliber that every respectable watch enthusiast knows.Another eye-catching element on the dial is the date window with a magnifying glass on top of it. It is a welcoming addition as, without the magnifier, the date window would require very sharp eyesight to read out the numbers. The best part of the watch is probably the main reason you’re considering it – the 40mm Sub case. Finding a watch that executes the traditional Rolex Submariner case to a high degree is a journey that most watch enthusiasts will find themselves on at some point. Plenty of microbrands offers sub cases and a whole mess of microbrands do as well. It has a BPH of 21,600 which means that it has a smooth sweep of the second hand at 6 beats per second. The power reserve is a standard 41 hours.
