Sometimes i like to spray it on my body and put a sweater on - feeling festive and fabulous all the way!

Im wearing this today as to celebrate the winter sunshine that finally came after long days spent in greyness, dark afternoons and snow. When trying fragrances from that era, I enjoy the ambers and vanillas and generally crinkle my nose at the florals. Luca Turin was for sure wrong when he said that this perfume was bad and shouldn't be worn near anyone. I used to work in a high rise in the city and another woman from a different law firm wore this and her scent trail after departing the elevator was intoxicating.Now when I read what I suspect Gen-X reviews and some YT "influencer" just out of kindergarten talking about grandma's poo, it makes me a bit sad. I think there are better and more complex white floral-centric fragrances than Amarige, Versace Crystal Noir being one of them. I just purchased a large bottle of Amarige today, because lately I've been craving a creamy tuberose scent with a vintage vibe. It is not bad but it is not somethng I could imagine using a whole bottle of so Im happy with the sample but it really is enough. Givenchy Amarige is a strong white floral perfume that centres around a soft and alluring bouquet of yellow and white flowers, for a unique experience.

I was testing out different Givenchy perfumes when I saw this and you know, this has a real vintage look to it. It is like mouthfull of honey, but somehow juicy and feels like it quenches my thirst when I breathe it in. I understand the reasons that it appeals to people, so to be fair, I rated as a dislike rather than hate. VERY animalic, lost all floral or sweet notes and was quickly replaced with a very pungent almost dirty scent.Amarige seems to be the one I expected : it tells me the story of a woman : the first note is like youth and springtime, the middle note is made with marvellous opened flowers for a happyness life , and after drying, the notes are a soft memory of the first notes with an add of a light ghost of powder.

It blooms meticulously throughout the day or night with its outstanding longevity, projection and silage.I tried this scent today and on the tester paper it was absolutely lovely, a gorgeous full bodied floral, sweet and strong.
