Cocky Roach gets banished from the insect kingdom and can be seen scuttling against litter bins while looking for food. The delightful shaped net wings on every page and a fantastic finger puppet character on the cover bring the Flutterbug world to life, and young readers will love becoming a part of it. Urban Fantasy: The firefly kingdom is a fairy tale-like setting, but human matches play a role in the story, and the final scene shows Cocky Roach in a human town.

Narrator: One evening, Frances was sitting on a twig, feeling very sorry for herself when Cocky Roach appeared.

Parental Obliviousness: Cocky Roach's mother left a box of matches unattended, and doesn't notice that he stole them. So the fireflies, with their glowing tail torches, would act as tiny rays of sunlight and brighten the evening sky so everyone else would see what they were doing. The match leaves flames burning a pile of twigs that the ants collected, before burning the good work that the insects done, including the ants' houses and honey factories. Narrator: Frances had been told how many times how dangerous matches could be, but Cocky had her under his spell.

It was decided that Frances had learned her lesson and that she should not be punished further, but she knew it would be a long time before she'd be able to fly again. Scare Factor: None, but it rises to Medium when the fire burns the kingdom, then drops to Low when the insects gather for an emergency meeting, as it reveals the fact that matches could destroy a large area or a home in a short amount of time, which can raise the scare factor. They are small text files placed in your browser to track usage of our site but they don’t tell us who you are.Adaptational Nice Guy: A shortened version of the film, which aired on television, omits the fact that Cocky Roach was playing a prank on Frances, making it seem that he was just having fun and didn't intend for Frances to burn her wings with the match.

If you require your buildings or assets scanned to produce 3d models, as built drawings or a digital twin of the asset please contact Mark Humphreys, mark. Frances, still in pain, starts feeling guilty and ashamed for herself and King Chrysalis tells her not to play with matches.

Does anybody have Frances the Firefly book which was a free publication done by the Office of the Prime Minister back in 2004. Narrator: Because Frances was still a very young firefly, her tail wouldn't glow like those of the grown-ups and this made her feel very sad. On the whole, though, the short is cute and charming, like most British children's programming of the 80s and 90s; besides which, there is no mention of anyone being killed, which can greatly lower the scare factor. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).Online Impact: Your online presence is usually the first interaction with your potential ideal clients. Cocky sits next to Frances and tells her to follow him and he'll show her how to light up the night. Toxic Friend Influence: Cocky Roach gets Frances to try using a match while flying to "light up the night". They decided that the ants would build the houses, the busy bees would make lots of honey, and the spiders would spin silky silvery webs to decorate the land and make it look beautiful. it took nearly a whole colour ink That really was going to be my last resort and when I ran it by my other half - he certainly wasn't impressed.
